As an important component of CNC machine tools, CNC Milling Panel plays an important role in the fields of automobiles, motorcycles, medical treatment, aviation, etc. In order to ensure its long-term stable operation and processing quality, regular maintenance and care are required, and operating procedures and precautions must be strictly followed.
CNC Milling Panel, an important component of CNC machine tools, is a tool for operators to interact with CNC machine tools (systems). CNC Milling, or CNC milling, is a machining process that uses a rotating cutting tool to move relative to the workpiece to remove material, thereby machining prismatic parts or other shaped workpieces. This process is widely used in the processing of small and medium batches of metal and plastic parts that require high strength and dimensional accuracy.
Features
High precision: CNC milling can achieve very precise tolerance control to ensure the consistency of parts.
Efficient production: CNC milling improves production efficiency and speed through automation.
Complex geometry processing: Ability to handle complex shapes and designs, including more complex processing using multi-axis machines.
Diversified materials: Can work with a variety of metals, plastics, composites, etc.
Reduced waste: Accurate material cutting reduces waste.
Automation: Reduces the need for manual intervention, reduces labor costs and improves quality control.
Flexibility: Easily adapts to design changes and is suitable for a wide range of applications.
Surface quality: Provides good surface finish, which can be further enhanced if necessary.
Function
Operation and programming: The operator can operate, program, debug and modify the CNC machine tool parameters through the operation panel.
Status display: The display device provides the operator with necessary information, such as the program being edited, the program being run, the processing status of the machine tool, the command/actual coordinate value of the machine tool coordinate axis, etc.
Manual control: The machine tool control panel concentrates all the buttons of the system, which are used to directly control the action or processing process of the machine tool, such as starting and pausing the operation of the part program, manually feeding the coordinate axis, adjusting the feed speed, etc.
Alarm and fault handling: The operation panel can also display fault alarm signals to help operators find and handle machine tool faults in time.
CNC Milling Panel is widely used in many fields, including but not limited to:
Automobile, motorcycle and parts industry: The automotive industry is one of the most widely used fields of CNC technology. The production of automobiles, motorcycles and their parts requires complete sets of CNC machining machines with high efficiency, high precision and high reliability.
Medical industry: The processing of medical equipment needs to meet the most stringent tolerance requirements. CNC precision machining helps create precise dimensions for surgical tools that fit surgeons, resulting in more accurate results for safety and reliability.
Aerospace industry: The aerospace industry has extremely high precision requirements for aircraft, rockets, satellites, etc. CNC machining equipment can meet these high-precision requirements and ensure high quality, high efficiency and low cost of parts manufacturing process.
Robotics industry: As robotics technology continues to develop, robot manufacturers need to keep up with the pace. One of the basic and most common methods of manufacturing robot parts is CNC machining.
Communications industry: Intelligent manufacturing, mobile communications, smart power, smart security and other fields all require the services of CNC machining manufacturers. The development of these fields has promoted the improvement of CNC precision parts processing level.
How to maintain and maintain
Daily maintenance:
Check the lubricating oil level to ensure machine lubrication.
Check whether there is enough coolant in the coolant tank, and add it in time if not.
Check whether the air pressure is normal and adjust it to the set value.
Clean the inner taper of the spindle and spray it with light oil.
Clean the tool magazine arm and tool, especially the claw.
Remove cutting and oil stains on the workbench, inside the machine tool, and on the three-axis telescopic cover.
Check whether all signal lights and abnormal warning lights are normal.
Clean the machine tool after daily work is completed.
Weekly maintenance:
Clean the air filter, cooling pump, and lubricating oil pump filter of the heat exchanger.
Check whether the tool pull bolt is loose and whether the tool handle is clean.
Check whether the three-axis mechanical origin is offset.
Monthly maintenance:
Check the lubrication of the X, Y, and Z axis tracks to ensure that the track surface is well lubricated.
Check whether the oil in the oil cup of the tool cylinder is sufficient, and add it in time if it is insufficient.
Half-year maintenance:
Disassemble the three-axis anti-chip cover, clean the three-axis oil pipe joints, ball guide screws and other components, and check whether they are normal.
Replace the oil of the hydraulic unit and the oil of the tool magazine reduction mechanism.
Test the clearance of each axis and adjust the compensation amount if necessary.
Annual maintenance:
Check whether all buttons are sensitive and normal.
Clean the cutting water tank and replace the cutting fluid.
Regularly check components such as circuit breakers, contactors, single-phase or three-phase arc extinguishers.
Replace the servo drive battery to ensure that the system data is stored normally.
Precautions
Equipment inspection and preheating: Before processing, the various components of the CNC machine should be thoroughly inspected to confirm that the fasteners are not loose and that the key parts such as bearings and motors are operating normally. For CNC machines that require preheating, preheating should be performed according to the manufacturer's instruction manual.
Program testing and simulation: Use simulation software to fully test the written CNC program to avoid material waste and equipment damage caused by programming errors.
Workpiece clamping and positioning: Select appropriate fixtures and clamping devices to ensure that the workpiece is firmly fixed and accurately positioned during processing.
Tool selection and use: Select appropriate tools according to the material type, hardness and processing requirements of the workpiece, and regularly check the tool wear and replace severely worn tools in time.
Processing parameter optimization: Adjust processing parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth according to the workpiece material, tool type and machine tool characteristics to improve processing efficiency and surface quality.
Environment and safety: Keep the working environment around the CNC machine clean and orderly, and ensure good ventilation. Strictly follow the safety operating procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Regular calibration and maintenance: Regularly perform maintenance and calibration of CNC machines to ensure the high-precision processing capabilities of the equipment.
As an important component of CNC machine tools, CNC Milling Panel plays an important role in many fields. In order to ensure its long-term stable operation and processing quality, regular maintenance and care are required, and strict compliance with operating procedures and precautions is required.
